As I studied journalism, I noticed a big change within the whole communication business. Nowadays people are required to be marketeers, regardless of what their job is. The rise of social media has made it so easy to connect with people that it's considered a basic skill.
As a result, there has been a huge shift in the way companies market themselves. Social media has become a powerful tool, and if used right, it can really boost business. The main struggle seems to be creating content. Many lack time and skills or do not know what their audience is interested in. That's where dedicated digital creatives like me come in, to connect the dots.
